Tryout & Evaluation Process to make an 808 club team

​

• Attend camps and clinics to get to know 808 Athletic Club

• Let the club know you are interested in their club.

• Athletes may attend camps, clinics, lessons prior to the evaluation window, but discussions about a specific team is prohibited

Types of Teams…

National Traveling Teams

• Ages 10-18 years

• Travel options: Las Vegas Classic, Triple Crown, AAU Nationals, USAV Junior Nationals

• Aloha Region Power League

• AAU Champions League

• Strength training included for 14U-18U

• College Recruiting with 808 Sports Recruits (High School)

• Practices begin in August for 10U, 12U, 13U & 14U (High school players will start in October.)

 

Non Traveling Teams

• Ages 9-16 years

• 7-8 Tournaments

• Convention Center Tournaments optional

• Practices begin August 1st for 10U, 12U, 13U & 14U (players who are not playing ILH school season)

When are Tryouts/Evaluations?

The Tryout or Evaluation period is…

• High School open gym to prepare for upcoming club tryouts in the beginning of July. Tryout times TBA

• Saturday, July 11: 1st Tryouts  12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U Girls, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U Boys

• Sunday, July 12: 10U Co-ed and 2nd Tryouts for all ages

• Wednesday, July 15: 14U-18U Boys

• July 31: Acceptance date
