Collegiate Focused Program: 1st Month
The collegiate program will begin with a multitude of tests. These tests are developed to give
the strength and conditioning lead a sense of each individual athletes overall physical stature,
overall strength, cardio conditioning and mental toughness.
A) Physical stature assessments will consist of the following:
1) Scaled body weight
2) Body fat test (waist circumference)
3) Flexibility
B) Overall, Strength Assessments - Athletes will conduct “one repetition maxes of certain lifts.”
The maxes will be recorded in the participants personal binder. Max weight reps are recorded
in order to scale workouts in the future via percentage of their maxes.
C) Stress Test – Lastly, participants will complete a short “stress test” to evaluate their cardio
and mental stamina. Athletes will be given a graded sheet at the end of the stress test as a base
line assessment.
